I live in Australia and wanted to visit Port Isaac. I need a taxi from Newquay airport to Port Isaac. Then a taxi from Port Isaac to Bodmin Parkway several days later. I received an extremely prompt and proffessional reply from Bernadette. Surprising me due to the time difference in Australia. My quotes were reasonable and fixed. True to word there taxi was at the airport and several days later at the hotel ready to take my to Bodmin Parkway. The taxi even arrived early. Taxis were clean, ride was lovely. Drivers were polite gentlemen. Was a pleasure that my trip linked up so smoothly thanks to their professional service. Cheers Anne holidaying from Australia.

I've used Abby Taxis several times over about 6 years - from shorter trips (Bodmin Parkway station to Port Isaac), longer trips (Heathrow Airport to Port Isaac) and some in-between. Everyone has been brilliant - Dave, Chris and Steve driving and Bernadette keeping everything running smoothly. Everyone's so personable. Clean cars, safe drivers and interesting local facts make for the best taxi service you could want. I always look forward to my taxi journey as part of my Cornwall pilgrimages and usually start harassing Bernadette and Dave at least 6 months before my arrival! They're quick to respond and always with a great sense of humour 😀 great recommendation for the nut roast at the Golden Lion in Port Isaac 😉 which can only be described as nom nom 😋 thanks for that expression which is now part of my vocabulary!! Look forward to seeing you on my next holiday. PROPER JOB 🌟 🌟

We met Steve driver, I can say the best driver ever! very friendly, flexible, polite, and a wonderful personality! He picked up us in time, as he promised, on the way to the train station, we had some problems with our little one, he was extremely helpful, he stopped how many times we needed..

So we recommended Steve 100% the best journey experience ever! Thank you so much. I saved Steve's number, definitely we will use it again!

Not only is Dave and excellent and reliable driver but he shows great consideration to the individual requirements of his passengers. I moved to Wadebridge in 2016 and have always used Abby Taxis for my airport and station runs. Dave is so reliable, thoughtful and kind. His car is always immaculate and your comfort is his first priority. Dave met me at Heathrow Airport, off my 6am flight, last Saturday 8th February and I arrived at my home in Wadebridge at 11.40am. That included a half hour stop at the motorway services. It was a real pleasure. I shall always use Abby as long as I am living in Wadebridge. I cannot recommend Dave highly enough.

Great new Premier Inn, with shower rather than bath. Top of town but an easy walk down and back (10-15 mins each way). We visited Port Isaac but needed to walk down the road to catch the bus as the stop right outside the hotel (despite the timetable) isn’t in action for that route. We used local Dave Abby taxis (back from) function in Port Isaac and highly recommended.

When planning a trip to Port Isaac, Cornwall I contacted Abby Taxi to arrange pick-up at Bodmin Parkway Station, drop-off at the Port Gaverne Hotel, as well as the reverse trip 4 days later. I was arranging this from Boston, Massachusetts, where I live, as a segment of a two vacation to London and Cornwall.

Almost immediately I received response from Dave who quoted a price and confirmed the date and times.

Sure enough, the day before we were to take the train from a London, I received an email from Dave and another from Bernadette confirming the date and time of pick-uo at Bodmin Parkway, and that Chris would be our driver and he would have an iPad displaying my name. Chris was there to meet us and was friendly and charming. Interestingly, enough, Chris was leaving the next day for Chicago and planned on driving all along Route 66, Chris, I hope you had a fabulous trip!

For our return trip to London 4 days later, once again I received confirmation the day before from Dave, and another from Bernadette. Sure enough, 9 AM the next day our driver Steve arrived and he was delightful. He was such a gentleman that he even carried our luggage to the train platform at Bodmin Parkway.

All from Abby Taxi were such a pleasure and this experience contributed to a truly lovely trip to Cornwall. For sure I will use them again when we next visit our friends who live in Port Isaac.

My dream was to come to Port Isaac, Cornwall & tour everything “Doc Martin” in his fictional Portwenn. Our journey to Cornwall was leg one of a 12-day holiday in England & Scotland. My husband & I needed a way to get from Bodmin Parkway (train station) to Port Isaac. We were recommended to try Abby Taxi of Wadebridge by the Terrace Tea Room & B&B. Couldn’t have had a better experience with Dave, our taxi driver. He was super friendly, on time, & drove very safely. High marks for their taxi service. I gave Dave the wrong return date; he went above & beyond by finding us an alternative taxi driver to get us back to Bodmin Parkway, as he was booked that day. As most Doc Martin fans from the US do, my cousin and I made the pilgrimage to Port Isaac when we were visiting London. Took the train to Bodmin Parkway, promptly jumped off the train with bags, took a quick selfie and got "busted" by Dave...who photobombed us. LOL. Great customer service, clean vehicles and plenty of room for the giant suitcase I had to bring with me. Dave is a very personable guy who offered all sorts of great information about the local area and even took us by the beach for our first ocean view before dropping us off in Port Isaac. Dave got our Port Isaac visit off to a great start and we will definitely use Abby Taxis again!
